HYPEIROCHUS

ΥΠΕΙΡΟΧΟΣ

The name of two mythical personages, one a son of Priam, was killed by Odysseus (Hom. Il. xi. 335; Apollod. iii. 12. § 5), the other the father of Itymoneus, who is hence called Hypeirochides. (Hom. Il. xi. 672, &c.)
