ΤΑΙΝΑΡΟΣ

A son of Elatus and Erimede, from whom the promontory and town of Taenarum, in Laconia, were believed to have their name. (Schol. ad Apollon. Rhod. i. 102; comp. Paus. iii. 14. § 2; Steph. Byz. s. c.)
